Palais Lascaris
About
This noble palate was built in the middle of the XVIIe century, for the Counts Lascaris-Vintimille. Classified Historic building, it was restored since 1963 and was transformed into museum. The palate, of style baroque and génois, preserves a monumental staircase decorated with frescos and luxuriously decorated living rooms. Flemish tapestries, a furniture of XVIIe and XVIIIe centuries as of the earthenware collections of the same time are currently presented.
Soon, the Lascaris Palate will become the Museum of the Music of Nice and will contribute to the valorization of the prestigious collection of old musical instruments of the Town of Nice.

Description:
Palate Lascaris Nice… Aristocratic residence of Nice; reconstitution of a residence of notable niçois. Important collection of Baroque art génois: room devoted to art and the popular traditions regional. The Lascaris Palate also accomodates the Center of the Inheritance, true pole of animation of the conservation of the Inheritance of Nice.
