Kentucky

This gay club opens daily (except Sundays) and doesn't close until 5am. It's always packed, day or night, and full of gay men, transvestites, locals and young people of all sorts. It is in an area of town with tons of bars and pubs, but only Moog is new. Kentucky and the rest still date from the Spanish postwar period, but this is precisely what makes them charming. Years ago, the Kentucky was frequented by American marines stopping over in Barcelona during the Cold War. There is a very long bar that ends in a small room and where you'll have a lot of fun. The decoration is as tacky as can be but genuine. If you come by early in the morning and it looks like it's closed, just knock on the door and the bouncer will let you in.
